Dr Bhagat Lal Dutta

Dr Bhagat Lal Dutta is an expert One Health Epidemiologist and Data Scientist. His other core competencies include Biosecurity, Biological Monitoring and Bio-Surveillance besides Modelling and Simulation for Informed Decision on Public Health and Environment, Resource Optimization and Risk Analysis.

He is known for his expertise in Efficient Preventive Medicine Service Delivery and Smart Livestock Production and Management Systems for Animal Data Recording, Production Enhancement, Genetic Improvement and Traceability.

Dr Dutta completed his PhD [Epidemiology, Population Dynamics, Complex Systems, Network Analysis] from National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), France and Nantes-Atlantic National College of Veterinary Medicine, Food Science and Engineering (ONIRIS), France. He attended his Post-doctoral training on Modelling and Simulation of Pathogen Exchange between Open Populations in Open Environment from IFREMER, France [Institut français de recherche pour l’exploitation de la mer]
